Labor and delivery unit busy at Long Island Jewish

As the second wave of the pandemic struck the United States with the variant known as omicron, Long Island hospital employees were already exhausted and overworked. They were dealing with the virus hitting their own staff, treating many patients who were unvaccinated and the labor and delivery unit was as busy as ever.
